Job Description:

* Assist with newborn care at deliveries, providing immediate care and support to newborns during and after delivery.

* Maintain skills in neonatal resuscitation to respond effectively in emergencies. * Demonstrate assessment skills in high and low-risk obstetrical patients to identify potential risks and health issues.

* Identify and report maternal and newborn problems to the physician promptly.

* Assist with the transfer of newborns to other facilities when indicated, ensuring safe and efficient transfers.

* Accurately identify and band newborns, mothers, and significant others to prevent mix-ups. * Document all care activities accurately, including band identification numbers in medical records.

• $5000 Sign on Bonus for eligible experienced candidates 
• Only external hires are eligible for Sign On Bonuses.   
• AdventHealth In-House and Facility Transfers are NOT eligible for Sign on Bonuses. 
• 12 Month contract required. 
• Must be hired into a full-time position. 
• Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are NOT eligible. 

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]


Work Experience:

• 1+ experience in Labor and Delivery


Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED) [Preferred]
