Job Description
Physician – Anesthesiologist
Salem VA Medical Center - Salem, Virginia.
-Current staffing: 1 Chief, 5 CRNA’s
-2 Full-Time positions, 2.0 FTEE
Practice Environment Description: As a Staff Anesthesiologist you will report to the Chief of Anesthesia who reports to the Chief of Surgery.
Highlights of this position include:
- Potential starting base salary: $325,000 - $400,000
- Daily schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30pm, non-telework eligible, non-remote.
- Additional night and weekend calls are distributed on an equitable basis with the other staff. By rotation, approximately once every 7 days.
- Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery from any U.S. State
- Open to evaluating current trainees and recent graduates, as well as non-citizens holding J1 or H1B visas.
Additional requirements:
- Board certified or board eligible and BC/BE Anesthesiologist.
