JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing all financial management functions of CPMG. Responsible for coordinating all funding and reimbursement for CPMG with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan A key participant on the Market Leadership Team in the development of short and long-term business goals for the Colorado market. Responsible for Medical Group participation with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan rate setting and annual strategic plan. Reports to the Executive Medical Director and President of CPMG.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance
* Partners with KFHP CFO, Market Leadership Team (MLT) and the KP Medical Foundation (KPMF) to drive Operating Margin performance in the Market
* Partners with KHFP CFO, Market Leadership Team (MLT) and the KP Medical Foundation (KPMF) to establish a KPCO budget that supports Care Delivery strategic plans and initiatives and reflects the needs of the Market
* Ensure that the payment to CPMG from KFHP-CO aligns with the all contractual obligations
* Collaborate with KPMF teams to provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist the CEO/President, the Board, the Finance Committee and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
* Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board, Finance Committee, Compensation Committee, and Retirement Committee as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
* Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, i.e., policies, budgeting, improvement opportunities, tax liabilities, distributions, Board designated reserves, share value, annual APD terms, retirement programs and investments
* Along with the Chair of the Finance Committee and Executive Director of Finance, lead agenda development and overview of financial position for Finance Committee of the Board
* Optimize cash management and investment returns.
* Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Corporation may enter.
* Member of CPMG Executive Care Delivery (ECD), Retirement Committee, Compensation Committee, and Finance Committee.
* Evaluate the structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth while emphasizing suitable opportunities for individuals.
* Responsible for planning, oversight, and adherence to established budgets

* Key participant in the development of CPMG's short and long-range planning; participate in developing business plans for new programs and strategies.
* Bring strategic plans to fruition through the coordination and allocation of organizational and enterprise resources in partnership with KPMF.
* Collaborate with CPMG, KPMF and KFHP leaders for business development concepts.
* Assist in or produce feasibility studies/business plans for new product development.
Revenue Cycle
* Partners with KPMF team to oversee revenue cycle functions such as performance reporting, relationships and contracts with third party billing vendors
* Acts as sponsor for key internal revenue cycle projects and workgroups, including non-members.

- Pay range: (Exempt or Non-Exempt): Minimum $452,000; Maximum $539,000. *Salary will be based on education and/or years of experience.
