IU Health Medical Group- North Region is hiring! We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at Ball Memorial Hospital!
Position Details:
Nocturnist
1656 annual hours, 414 quarterly hours
Emergency Dept shifts: 15:30-1:30 & 20:00-06:30
Clinical Decision Unit: 18:00-06:30
Maximum of 4 weekend shifts per month (Sat & Sun)
No call
Team includes 17 physicians and 23 advanced practice providers
Ability to see acuity level 2, 3, 4, 5.
Key Responsibilities:
Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including triage, main department, and clinical decision unit
Procedures include laceration repair, I &D, G tube replacement, joint reductions
Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases
Qualifications:
FNP or PA certification required
If new graduate, clinical rotation/RN experience in the ED required
