he Student Scholar, Radiology role is designed for second-year students enrolled in a JRCERT-accredited School of Radiography who are eager to gain hands-on clinical experience in a dynamic hospital setting. Under the direct supervision of certified ARRT technologists, you?ll support the performance of diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing radiographic and fluoroscopic exams across a variety of clinical areas including:
Pediatrics
Operating Room
Emergency Department
Outpatient Imaging
Portable Radiography
Fluoroscopy Procedures
Learn and apply proper patient positioning techniques and equipment operation.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Deliver patient care that is timely, professional, and aligned with WakeMed?s standards of excellence.
Collaborate with technologists and clinical teams to support workflow and patient throughput.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
Currently enrolled in a JRCERT-accredited Radiology program - Required
Must be entering the second year of the program and in good academic standing
Licensure and Credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
