Summary:
The Student Intern position at Akron Children's will provide administrative support, assist with research and analysis, and participate in employee relations initiatives within the Human Resources department. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to employee relations practices in a pediatric healthcare environment.
The Student Intern will assist with data collection, reporting, policy research, and documentation, and may contribute to projects focused on workplace trends, employee experience, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive employee relations information with integrity and professionalism.

- Understands the importance of compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and ethical standards.
- Comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, and learning HR processes.

Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Office, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn and navigate HRIS systems and other HR-related technologies.
- Comfortable with filing, scanning, and maintaining confidential electronic records.

- Currently enrolled in a Human Resources or related degree program.
