Description
The incumbent will also perform basic patient care skills, follows infection control practices, positions, transfers, and transports patients, take vital signs, collects specimens, accurately observes reports and charts, assists with self-care activities and elimination needs when necessary. Additional duties include customer relations, area coordination, unit operations.
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
Coordinate administrative tasks to support patient flow and unit efficiency.
Maintain and update patient records using both manual and electronic systems.
Perform data entry and filing, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
Support daily office operations, including supplies, scheduling, and correspondence.
Assist in training and onboarding new clerical staff.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Salary Range: $26.57- $35.02
Qualifications
We're seeking a highly skilled, motivated professional individual with:
Certification of nursing assistant from a state approved program required.
A minimum of one year of experience within a hospital or community setting required.
BLS certified required
Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate English vocabulary and grammar.
Ability to understand oral and written English directives.
Ability to read and write Standard English text.
Ability to accurately complete assigned tasks.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
