JOB SUMMARY:

The Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst III is responsible and accountable for a wide variety of functions within the HIM Department including:  completion of the legal birth certificate; document imaging functions to include:   scanning, quality control, and correction; record analysis and completion functions to monitor and assist providers in completing documentation; processing physician suspension; medical record review and documentation auditing; and support for coding to ensure all documentation is complete.  The specific functions are assigned depending on the needs at each facility. 

The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has excellent verbal and written communications skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 3 years’ experience required
