The role you’ll contribute:
The nurse manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the management & clinical practice activities for the nursing unit(s) under his/her charge. He/she assumes 24-hour accountability for the CVOR and anesthesia departments for optimum quality patient care is delivered and staff is developed to exert care in a professional and caring manner. May be required to take call for the department.

- Prepares, analyzes, reviews and monitors operational and capital budgets for assigned unit(s).
- Coordinates and promotes Performance Improvement plan in unit.
- Promotes Balanced Scorecard.
- Promotes customer satisfaction within unit.
- Communicates effectively with staff.
- Represents the Philosophy of Nursing and Administration.
- Participates in ongoing educational activities for Specialty area as well as management seminars.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the state of FL or in a qualifying compact state.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Three (3) years of management experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room required
- CNOR preferred, must be obtained within 6 months of hire
