Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Medical Office Associate in the Infusion Therapy Department at Chilton Medical Center to work 8AM - 4PM, including weekends when needed.
This per diem MOA position is to cover the Infusion and Radiation departments hours as needed
Obtaining patient demographics and insurance information for the registration process
Scheduling patients in Epic
Obtain patients current records/reports/orders and scan into the EMR, maintaining the medical record
Scheduling of new patient consultations and post treatment appointments
Collection of patient co-pays as required on the radiation side
Candidate must greet our patients in a courteous, positive manner
Must be able to communicate and establish working relationships with the Team
Must be able to walk to the main hospital to transport lab specimens/meds/blood products
Must have excellent computer skills, fluent in EXCEL, organized, and able to multitask
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of medical office experience strongly preferred
Fluent in Excel
