Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Certified Surgical Technician II for the Operating Room at Morristown Medical Center to working 7am-8pm including every 4 weekends and being on-call.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and Preparing for surgical cases in a fast paced, multi specialty Surgery Department.
• Adheres to AORN Standards, applies principles of aseptic technique assuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Multi specialty knowledge base of surgical procedures, safe and quick turnovers utilizing a team approach and strong communication skills.

Minimum Education:

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required

Minimum Experience:

• 1 year OR experience strongly preferred

License/Certification:

• Certified Surgical technologists required
• BLS required
