Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Physician Assistant for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest integrated health care systems, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to be part of the Surgical Associates of Sussex County. The team consists of experienced board-certified surgeons who are experts in many types of surgeries, from in-office procedures to minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities
The role is ideal for physician assistants who have 2+ years of experience assisting with surgery. The ideal candidate will assist with surgery, round to both Newton and Hackettstown Medical Centers daily and will be the first ER call contact. The physician assistant will also have the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- ACLS & BLS required
- PA License in NJ required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a PA role assisting with surgery is strongly preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
- Interest in working with this clinical profile is needed
