Atlantic Health System is seeking 3 per diem Unit Associates for Gagnon 3 Pulmonary Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work varied shifts including 3 weekend shift in a 28 day.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Answering phones
• Answering and responding appropriately to call bells
• Greeting patients and families
• Assisting charge nurse with bed management and bed assignments
• Patient chart maintenance
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs
  are met
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by
  exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a
  positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive
  customer service skills every aspect of their job.

Minimum Education:

• 
  HS diploma or GED is required

Minimum Experience:

• 
  Experience in a hospital or medical office setting and medical terminology knowledge.
• 
  The candidate must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
• 
  The position is for Per Diem with varying shifts (days and evenings) including weekends (four weekend shifts) and holidays based on the unit's needs.
• 
  Must be available to attend at least four weeks or more of training during the days and evening hours, as well as weekends.
