Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Residential Aide in the Behavioral Health Dept at Newton Medical Center.

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

• Skill teaching, supportive services and direct intervention with adult residents.
• Provides clinicians with reports as required on the residents movements towards or barriers to achieving treatment goals and objectives.
• Report on other issues or problems.
• Oversees residents self administration of medications.
• Maintains necessary records according to regulatory guidelines and personal care records.
• Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments. Assist in household maintenance of the work environment.
• Maintain commitment as a team member to achieve program goals and objectives.
• Other tasks which may be required.

Minimum Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree.

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years relevant experience Required

License/Certifications:

• Maintains current CPR, AED and First Aide Certification as well as Nurse Safe Training and Fire Training.
