Atlantic Health System is seeking a PerDiem Unit Associate I for Kahn 5- Neuro/Medical Unit at Morristown Medical Center, working varied shifts including every other weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Answering the phones.
• Answering and responding appropriately to the call bells.
• Greeting patients and families.
• Assisting the charge nurse with bed management, bed assignments and patient chart maintenance.

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Minimun Experience:

• Previous Unit Associate experience in a hospital or medical office setting.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
• Must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette preferred

Qualifications:

• The candidate must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
