The Program Manager - Trauma leads assigned areas of the Trauma Program for Southwest Healthcare System. This position provides clinical management, leadership, coordination, and operational direction for trauma services provided at SWHS. This position serves as the tactical point person for all of trauma services related to patient care, staff development, physician relationships, quality initiatives, program development, and system-wide success. This position assures evidence-based patient care by creating an environment that encourages the use of research in practice. This position requires knowledge and skill in professional nursing theory and practice, trauma care and trauma systems, principles of teaching and learning, and quality assurance.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, 2 years progressive management experience
• Experience in Trauma Program Coordination: planning, implementing and evaluating outcomes highly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree-preferred
• Registered Nurse with current California license
• Current BLS, PALS, TNCC or ATLS
• Current ACLS preferred
• National Certification preferred
