Lee Health is seeking a Heart Failure Specialist/Medical Director!

The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds.

The cardiac flagship, HealthPark Medical Center, is a 460-bed facility located in Fort Myers, FL, that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient cardiac services. HPMC has been an IBM/Watson top 50 cardiac hospital 3 years in a row (2018, 2019, and 2020), the only hospital in Florida to receive this distinction 3 year in a row.

Position Information:

Lee Health is seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a well-established and full-service Cardiovascular program with clinical duties out of HealthPark Medical Center and administrative duties throughout the System (four adult acute care hospitals in addition to outpatient clinics). This is an exciting administrative opportunity to further develop and improve an existing program and clinically to provide support to over 50 Cardiologists in caring for complex heart patients. Candidates for this position will be interested in program development and management, quality improvement and leveraging innovation for value to patients. Skills in managing outpatient and inpatient consultations for complex heart cases are required. Candidates for this position will be fellowship trained in Heart Failure and have the skills and leadership to build upon an existing program.
