The Registered Nurse / RN Endoscopy is responsible to provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse / RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Endoscopy Suite. Administers and performs specialized nursing care related to endoscopic procedures. Registered Nurse / RN assists in developing departmental goals in keeping with the hospitalâ��s mission, goals, and objectives. The Registered Nurse / RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse / RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in electronic health record.

Education Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
One year hospital experience and three years nursing practice in an endoscopy unit.
Certification by the Society of Gastrointestinal Nurses and Associates (CGRN) highly desirable
