The Manager of Operations will report to the VP of SLSG to manage operational projects, processes, and platforms, and to assist with surgical service line growth and development while insuring continuous performance improvement and quality. They will assist with the tactics of launching innovative programs and surgical services. They will oversee the activities of patient, physician, and community engagement collateral projects, data analytics projects, and physician advisor portfolio of services. They will be responsible for business functions to include accounts payable and vendor relations. Organize recruitment and replacement of required team members.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for service line pipeline growth through the communication, call managing, data collection, and tracking of calls to RVP�s, Market Presidents, and Business Development. This project is designed to provide actionable analysis for facilities and SLSG team to focus on growth initiatives for the field.
- Patient engagement through the joint and spine patient education guidebook offering and patient collateral materials. Work with vendors for continued improvement of guidebook production.
- Assist with SLSG conference presence. Conference participation included; AAHKS, Becker�s, and the development and launching of the Rapid Recovery Leadership Forum.
- Assist with planning and organizing team meetings and events.
- A/P processing for all vendor invoices. Billing for SLSG patient education and marketing collateral materials.
- Legal department liaison � work with legal on all requests for agreements and renewals. Communicate directly with physician advisors to collect monthly reports and get them paid for services.
- Human Resources liaison � work with HR and assist team with any issues here.
- Assist service line leaders with scheduling and memorializing project calls as needed.
- Be proficient at Project Management and help lead an effort migrating all SLSG�s existing and future pipeline on to a Project management software platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in healthcare related field as a manager of operations or equivalent position in healthcare
- Excellent organizational and management abilities

- Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and various business software
- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
- Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital business office operations experience a plus
