The Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing financial statements including balance sheets, profit, loss and statistical statements. Oversees the accounting, audit, tax, and budget functions. Reviews and analyzes internal controls and general ledger account balances. Completes surveys and statistical reporting. Provides financial analyses and monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, prior experience is preferred. Position requires a high level of attention to detail, a well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, including strong organizational skills. Have a thorough knowledge of GAAP guidelines as well as a thorough understanding of accounting cycles and procedures. Requires high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products, high level critical thinking skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and highly professional interpersonal skills. Environment necessitates the ability to multi-task and adapt to interruptions effectively.
