Greets visitors, answers phones, may perform some clerical tasks
Answering office phones, and directs callers to appropriate persons within the office.
Checks in patients and collects accurate patient demographics, enters data into electronic system and verifies insurance.
Collects patient copays, outstanding balances and all other patient responsibilities.
Compiles, maintains, copies, retrieves and tracks medical records.
Additional responsibilities as needed
Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience: Must have a minimum of one years of experience working in an administrative setting

Knowledge of insurance verification process
ICD-9 and ICD-10
Understanding of documentation required for physician appointments.
Knowledge of Electronic Health Systems
Knowledge of Practice Management Systems
Knowledge of the policies and procedures of a clinic sufficient to provide effective patient service.
