GENERAL SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Systems, assists with requirements gathering, research, design, testing, building, implementation and maintenance of clinical software systems. Provides support for clinical and hospital activities. Performs clinical workflow analysis and makes suggestions for improvements that will result in better clinical information management and workflow. REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: 1) Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field and 4 years of experience or 8 years of experience in clinical systems analysis and build, 2) previous experience in healthcare, required, 3) previous experience in healthcare technology, preferred, 4) previous clinical systems experience preferred, 5) excellent verbal and written language skills and ability to communicate clearly with administrative, clinical, and other users, 6) ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks, 7) excellent customer service skills along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, 8) ability to provide after hours and on-call support, and 9) must have a means of transportation between BTNRH sites.
