Part-Time position, Monday - Thursday 8:00am-1:00pm. Responsibilities include performing work of significant difficulty at Boys Town National Research Hospital and all satellite clinic locations, including the appointments and scheduling of patients and providers. Will utilize the electronic record system to conduct procedures of registration, scheduling, filing, scanning, insurance, payments and other significant front desk functions. Will adhere to established Clinic Standards policy to promote consumer satisfaction and a positive work environment as well as cross train to other clinic locations for adequate staff coverage.
Qualified individuals must have a High School diploma or the equivalent, and knowledge of medical terminology. We do prefer a minimum of two years of experience in a medical front desk or hospital setting. We also require the ability to maintain complex/confidential records, type 30 wpm, and have excellent communication and human relation skills. Individuals should have previous working knowledge of using a personal computer and electronic medical records, and knowledge of computerized scheduling desired. Spanish bilingual preferred.
